This is the dumping ground for ideas to write Hurd drivers (on Mach).
We want to write a FileSystem driver, probably for XFS.[buy ultram]
- We should first study a simple driver, like the mouse driver.
- We need to study LibDiskFS, and current implementations of filesystems based upon it (i.e. ext2fs).
- We need to study current implementations of XFS, meaning the versions in the Linux and FreeBSD kernels based on.
